Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship honors two Board Members
25 years of outstanding service by Charles Melvin and Charles Younce recognized.
At the annual meeting of the Board of Directors on January 24, 2017, the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship recognized two long serving members for 25 years of outstanding service.
Both Charles Younce and Charles Melvin joined the Board of Directors for the Greensboro non-profit business incubator in 1992. A few achievements during their quarter of a century tenure include the graduation of over 400 businesses, and the successful move of the incubator into its permanent home at the former Carolina Steel building on South Elm Eugene Street in 2012.
"Both of these men are to be commended for their continued willingness to champion the needs and mission of the Nussbaum Center," said Sam Funchess, President and CEO of the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship. "Both have been instrumental in our growth and continuing success as a leading force in economic development in the Triad."
As a token of appreciation, each of these men were presented with hand rendered Charcoal portraits from local artist and veteran, Luster Felton.
